Anja Wendzel's path to the stage began early: at the age of 12 she recorded a CD as a soloist and at the age of 17 she won her first music award, the ARTIKUS Art Prize of the City of Fürstenfeld. She completed her training as a musical actress with distinction and played leading roles in musicals such as "Dance of the Vampires" and "The Three Musketeers".

After over 1500 shows, Anja discovered the Schlager genre for herself and celebrated success with her first single "Sommerregen". She won the hit of the month in the MDR show "Schlager des Monats". Anja has performed with well-known artists and is also active as a presenter.

Since then, ANJA WENDZEL has performed on stage with and for Nik.P, Olaf Henning, Die Seer, Julian David, voXXclub, Guten Morgen Österreich, the RTL series Unter Uns, ORF Steiermark and Open Air am Meer. But Anja also works as a presenter for Thermen and Vulkanland, as well as the lifestyle magazine 5komma5sinne.
